For those who already have a SD , just wondering about case vibration. The reason that I am asking is I am thinking of using a foldup table that I saw at biglots as a work table. It's plastic, and I don't want my new SD3(when I get it) "walking" off the table.
It's not necessarily the case vibrating so much as the inertia of the stepper motors and drive and print system... unless that's what you meant 
anyways the SD does have rubber feet and mine dose not walk(yet) but depending on the table it might not have enough traction especially when it comes to filling in infill, so maybe a noslip pad between the two or some other means of securing it... screws, duct tape, glue...
I love how the old Solidoodle press releases say "frame so sturdy a grown man can stand on it while its printing"..
because you pretty much NEED THAT to keep the case at a true stand-still if you crank up the travel speed.
It would be downright scary if the machine was actually dancing around on the table, but more realistically I'd be concerned about the extra noise & possibility of undampened 'harmonics' affecting the quality of the print; especially during infills..
Jokes aside.. it operates just fine sitting on a table. But I still wouldn't choose a card table as a first choice.
I have quite a few different CNC machines and they ALL operate the same way as the SD does, basically they try to move something with mass as fast and as accurate as it can... however with this movement there is inertia... can't get around physics no matter how hard you try adding more weight to the SD may help stabilize it and you could stand on it that would surely bring it's mass up enough to overcome any amount of printer shaking electron pulsing the motors can throw at it! however I haven't seen anyone mention they had a problem with the printer walking about 
I am certain with all the testing and multitudes of printers running day and night at the SD factory churning out SD parts they would have found a problem like this...
because while filling the walls my printer pretty much shaking, I do not think twice went to a nearby market and bought iron 2 steel wedges length of 30 centimeters and a weight of 7 kilograms each for $ 20. These wedges I put on the right and the left, as you can see, and now my printer is stationary during operation.
My SD2 sits on regular long table that you would find at use in at a church of school. The printer does shake the table a bit but my printer hasn't walked anywhere. The machine is pretty hefty and adding another 2lbs of filament to the back isn't going to hurt anything.
I use the top of my printer to display my current prints and they don't vibrate off the case either.

One user insisted a large detergent container full of water helped.... I'm scared to try that one.
true it's possible to stop vibration by adding extra mass.
it's also possible to stop vibration through dampening.
I've got a folded pillow case under the corners of my printer.
The reason I went through a weight gain, when the printer is shaking, his bed, which is not secured to the axis Z and guides, also shifted during the shaking. Adding weight allowed to reduce vibration, and thus offset the bed during it.

i thought about this for a while too; and was looking at a box in a box solution, the printer would sit inside an insulated acrylic box with a set of dampeners.
it is down the list of priorities just now though as it isnt that much of an issue for me at the moment.
