Topic: Motor Controller Display Failure

What gives? Thing has only been run 3-5 days on the weekend.
The red LEDs are dim and  the display is dim, and doesn't change.

Anybody seen this before?
The unit does appear to be working... But i don't see the current limit light coming on,even when putting some extra back pressure on with a pair of pliers.

Re: Motor Controller Display Failure

After cycling power, now the red lights and display don't come on at all.
Blue light still does, and the motor does turn.

Re: Motor Controller Display Failure

Just to see if anyone has a comment.
My power into the board is from some old 12V 3 amp laptop charger.
Haven't hooked a scope up to it, but the multimeter says 12VDC.
I had turned the voltage up to 13-15 ish depending on the day.
Should i use a 15VDC or greater supply?

Re: Motor Controller Display Failure

Voltages higher than 12v will increase brush wear on the motor.
