Topic: Extruder motor not functioning?
I've had Repetier on my DaVinci 1.0 for some time now. I installed the e3dV6 a week ago and printed a dozen prints while dialing in temps. I unloaded the filament and the motor would only turn maybe a 1/4 rotation ... so I ran the unload command a dozen or so times to unload the filament. I took apart the hot end carriage to better align the nozzle feed tube with the stepper gearing and reinstalled everything. At first I was getting a decoupling error and couldn't figure out the issue until I realized I accidentally plugged the PCB harness into the stepper motor. I assume this has caused some damage somewhere along the line.
Now, with the printer on and I unplug/plug the harness, the motor gives a slight jog ... assuming this is due to receiving power. When I load the filament, the motor gives no response at all. When I cancel the load process, the control panel displays 'Action canceled!' and then just sits there forever ... essentially locking up. At this point the printer is unresponsive and I'm forced to turn it off.
Any help would be very welcome.
