Topic: Dual heads for Da Vinci Pro 1.0
Davinci Pro 1.0 seems to have the internals ready to accept a second extruder. Is that intentional? Will it accommodate one and if so, has anyone tried to install one?

It's not so much intentional as it is to save money. By using the same board on all of the machines they save design and production cost. One model just does not have a fully populated board while a higher model will. It is a common practice with companies that use the same board in multiple models. Yes you could populate the missing parts but but for a couple hundred more you could just buy the 2.0.
