Topic: Glue Drying out

Hi guys i am brand new to this forum and i need a question answered .
The question is we apply glue always because if we do not the abs filament will not stick to the Da vinchi 1.0  print bed so the question is what should i do because if a big thing is printing the glue dries out mid session and the rest is messed up so we have to start again and that is a massive waste of filament and time. so what should i use as a alternative thing to stick the filament to the bedor do something with the printer .i will give you some details. the print bed is heated up to 90 degrees celcius and we use abs standard xyz ware filament.

thanks I am only 11 years old so not too technical.

Re: Glue Drying out

It is OK for the glue to dry out after you put down the first layer. The first layer and bed leveling is critical for all prints. Check the manual bed leveling process to assure a good first layer.

I apply a smooth layer of glue. After about 3 prints, I will clean the glass with water and then apply another. Your results may vary.
