Topic: How to get the scanner to work on windows 7?

So, my local makerspace bought 2 of those handheld scanners and so far they're just 500$ potatoes because all our laptops run on windows 7.

Yeah, it's our fault for not realizing that before buying them. They work fine on windows 10, we tested one on a personal computer.

Are there ANY realsense drivers (that seems to be the problem: realsense drivers) that will work with the scanner on windows 7? at all?

I had the same problem and I would suggest you look for some professional guy to do this for you.

And if your understanding is more than average then try watching the online video.

It may surely help you.
