Re: re: repetier .92

The printer is running on fixed tooth belt and pulley.  The prefixed values are correct and should never be adjusted.  If you're getting dimensional inaccuracies, you need to calibrate your extrusion rate, extrusion width and filament diameter. Measure your filament carefully in multiple spots. It's almost never exactly 1.75mm. The particular brand that I use is always around 1.71mm.  My extrusion rate is set to .95 and my extrusion width is .48.

Re: re: repetier .92

Also, a 10mm cube is too small of an object to calibrate.  If you're just printing 1 small cube at a time, that cube is probably beyond deformed by heat.  I think you're chasing the wrong tail here.

Thanks for the reply
Ok so how close a tolorence can the davinci print a part + 1 MM to - 1 MM is this as good as it can do.

Thanks

Re: re: repetier .92

depends on the plastic.  I usually print a 20 mm calibration cube and my last pla one was 19.98 x 19.89  which really is about right on
