Topic: Thermistors reading wrong temps (Fried Main Board?)

Hey guys, I am posting here because I am at a loss on my XYZ DaVinci 1.0 running repetierhost .92.

I was cleaning my e3d V6 hotend because I forgot to turn on my extruder cooling fan yesterday, and after I re-assembled the extruder, I powered everything up and ran the clean nozzle function. The printer heated up and I took a brass wire brush to the nozzle, when i did this, the lights flashed and the printer restarted.

I'm pretty sure I shorted out my mainboard because ive tested two different thermistors and the main thermistor has been stuck at 137C the entire time, the bed thermistor is stuck at 120.

Is a there a test I can do to see if I have fried my mainboard? Ive tried reflashing RH as well to no avail.

If i have fried my mainboard, is there a way anyone knows of to which i can aquire a replacement without buying another $300 printer?

Thanks
Andrew

I think these posts may be helpful for you:

But I'm not sure if there is a way to test if your mainboard fried.

I don't have a DaVinci, but see what happens if you disconnect the hot end and thermistor plugs from the motherboard and then power up...if the bed starts working properly again, then check all hot end connections for shorts and/or loose connections.

SD2 - Stock - Enclosure - Heated Bed - Glass Plate - Auto Fire Extinguisher
Ord Bot Hadron - RAMPS 1.4 - Bulldog XL - E3D v6 - 10" x 10" PCB Heated Build w/SSR - Glass Plate
Thanks for All of Your Help!

Did you check the R271 fuse, I had the same problem

Da Vinci  AiO with firmware 1.1.1 using xyzscan 1.1.18
E3Dv6 hotend with custom carriage with Borosilicate glass bed
123D Design and Simplify3D, Replaced PS with a Solidgear Flex320
Zerokart resetter,  Installed a Extruder Controller for higher temps
