Topic: How to connect a capacitive proximity sensor to a 2.0A MB?

I've got a capacitive proximity sensor coming and because I had a brain fart
I forgot it had to talk to Repetier and be connected to the motherboard.

Has anyone done this and can help me?

Thanks.

PS I should be flashing Repetier in a week or so.

You cant do it with a stock board. It does not have the input for a 4th sensor. The z axis is slso not set up for auto leveling like true auto level ststems. It simply counts how many steps it takes to make electrical contact then converts that to decimal millimeters for your benefit.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
Anycubic 4MAX best $225 ever invested.
Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.
Anycubic Predator, massive Delta machine. 450 x 370 print envelope.

Thanks dude. That's another idea out the water  smile

I'll have to drill a hole and put a metal pin in to my V6 to at least I can still use the bed level.

I think a piece of paper would be much easier!

Da Vinci 1.0a.  Repetier 0.92.  E3D V6.  Titan Extruder.  Sllic3r.  Octoprint on Raspberry Pi B+.

On my duo the auto bed levelling is awesome. I use an app off the play store.
