thanks for the reply there are a few tips ive not heard of before..
Im new to 3d printing so still learning.
I only print at a slightly higher temp as the filament make BQ say its best between 200 and 220.
Only got this because there was no bad reviews on amazon.
Do you know what make is best on these printers?
so on the veg oil tip i dont have a wiper or anything so should i slightly coat the filament before loading? then continue after that while it feeds?
I did clean the nozzle and re-load some white filament which appears to have worked.
when i then did a test print late last night the layers were too far apart so i will re-level and try again later.
But it was laying down filament on each layer at least.
i know it turned out crap but its a step further

out of interest do different colours have different melting points?
