There are 2 cross-hairs. The small cross-hair line that is near the bottom of the image must line up with the center of your turntable.
Find the exact center of your turn table, and mark it. The align the camera so the small cross-hair lines up with the center. The large cross-hair is 3.5" above the surface of the turntable.
Once you have that, you can follow the calibration instructions on the murobo site, or elsewhere on this forum.
I found the info saying to use the calibration item and align cross hairs with center of turntable and item and the horizontal line with all 3 tips of the top of item. the bottom outside edge of the 5.5" turntable is not in full view when done this way but the small items I will be scanning will be. also this method makes you line up camera hieght with lasers for square/level view. so measurements are true. just have to set light and test then try scanning now
The Getting Started page describes the calibration process http://www.murobo.com/start.html#calibration
The front edge of the table won't be visible and does not need to be visible since the lasers are not shining from directly in front.
