I have a bottle of Molybdenum-disulfide (dry slide) that I have been thinking of using but I have a 3 OZ tube of superlube synthetic grease (recommended by Makerbot) that will probably last 20 years that I have to use first.
As long as the grease doesn't attract dust and hair spray then dry and become gack.
a dry lube.. i imagine it comes with a roller type applicator. so how do you apply it so that it goes into the valleys of the ball screws/threaded rods?
I use an acid brush to apply it. (Better Control)
Ghostling, it is a liquid that dries, leaving behind the teflon.
