Flash repetier and get a different scanner !
Apologies for the slightly flippant reply but it's well know the Davinci scanner is poorly implemented.
Although, apparently a few people seem to have managed to get decent scans from it somehow.

First of all A caveat. I do not own a davinci and I have little experience with scanning.
Our local maker space has a artec Eva light. And I sat in on the training for it. and there are some things to consider.

I expect the Aio scanner like the eva is geometry only . That means color contrast and textures cause bad scans.
Also avoid reflective surfaces. Also avoid detached hanging appendages ie a hand  with fingers together placed next to the body will scan easier that fingers apart and hanging in mid air.

Avoid any harsh direct light into the scanning chamber.

What the scanner does like is neutral flat color.  So take an object you do not care about the surface finish and spray with gray primer then try a scan.

Software will clean up things but starting with a good scan saves lots of work.

hope this helps

Yeah, gray paint makes a big difference especially with dark coloured or reflective objects.
I use water based paints which can be cleaned off easily afterwards.
