Never cut vinyl stickers (which are PVC) with a laser, it creates chlorine gas. You can make PCBs with a laser more easily by rastering black spray paint, because there is no weeding required. Just wipe off any smoke residue with alcohol and a Q-tip before etching. After etching, wash off the spray paint with acetone. If you have a jig for keeping registration, you can go back after etching and raster the holes enough to create a little divot. That will serve as a pilot so when you can get perfect placement with the drill without fuss.
Also it would be a good idea to have a fan blowing over the piece to blow the smoke away so it can't leave residue on the laser lens.
