Topic: Printing and scanning question

I have the davinci A1.0 scanner/printer with stock firmware.


Printing
I have printed on speed .03. it prints alright.  But when I try to set it on speed .01 the machine does not print.  It starts of normal, but some way through the print it gets caught and begins to drag it, the abs will not sit on glass.  Could it be a problem that ma not using enough glue or what can be the issues?


scanning
Has anyone got a good scan?  I have the combo scanner and printer, but cannot seem to get a good scan.  I tried a pepakura design that's all white.  But not a good scan, missing sections.

Printing - I'm assuming by speed 01 you mean the fastest speed.
It's generally better to print abs at slower speeds, especially during the first layer.
Also, follow the bed levelling guide in the first page of the Davinci forum to ensure you have the bed height set correctly so that the first layer sticks well. Sounds like you might need to raise the bed slightly.

Scanning - Don't have any experience with the aio but from what I've read here, it doesn't scan too well. You might be better off looking at other options if scanning is important to you.

Well my mistake it was not the speed.  It every time I tried to print in .01 layer height.  Always messes up the print.  I did follow the instruction on how to level the bed.
