Topic: Will a 1.0A carriage fit a 2.0A?

Hi all.
I want to mess about with a E3D V6. I don't really want to mod my Duo 2.0.
So does anyone know if a 1.0A carriage fir a duo 2.0A?

Well not really. the 1.0a carriage will fit,  but it doesn't have any place to put the extra extruder or hot end that is in your duo?
you would still have to remove the 2.0 carriage.  so it you don't want to modify your 2.0 carriage why not print a new 2.0 carriage that will hold your e3d v6's that way you only have to modify the wiring and swap the carriages if you want to put it back to stock.

I'll be honest I love the e3d v6 its worth modifying.

Have you got a link for the duo carriage stl?

I was going to buy a V1.0A carriage to put one E3D V6 kite on to play with before going to two V6s.
I wont need to rewire anything as I'm going to use the 2.0A heater in the V6 lite(heard it works)


I want to use Flexi filament if I can

You could try one of these I don't have a 2.0 so I cant really advise you on that.
