Topic: XYZ default settings for slic3r

Just wondering what the default settings for a XYZ 1.0 AIO  printing at 0.1mm on slow speed is if I was to to put into slic3cr?

Mainly speed and retraction settings?

Cant seem to find out anywere.

Want to put the default settings in then adjust from there.

Re: XYZ default settings for slic3r

There is no such thing as default settings. Every printer is different and every roll of filament is different. The settings will change every time you load a new roll. Even the same color by the same vendor will be different from the last.

That is part of the printing process is to find the optimal settings for your machine and filament. Somebody might could give you some numbers but they will only get you in the ball park. I sold my Da Vinci so I don't have numbers to give you.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

I thought the stock XYZ software used fixed settings?

Re: XYZ default settings for slic3r

I seem to remember the slow setting being 30mm/s but I could be wrong (no longer using xyz).
That's actually the speed I use when I want to print fast.
