Topic: Da Vinci 1.0 AiO Faulty Drive Gear?

I'm relatively new to 3D printing, and whenever I try to print with my da Vinci 1.0 AiO the filament simply doesn't come out.  It is all the way in, the extruder is heated to the correct temperature, and I have cleaned it multiple times and there are no obstructions blocking the filament from coming out, leading me to think that it is a drive gear problem.

Any suggestions?  How can I check on and/or clean the drive gear?

Does it extrude properly when you use the load filament option in the lcd ?
If so, it might be that you have the nozzle too close to the bed preventing the filament from extruding. The solution is to turn the thumb screws a little to the right until you get it printing.
