Topic: Da Vinci 1.0 extra fan connection

Hey guys!

Today i was messing aroud with the hotend and i saw that there is a 'FAN B' connection. I guess this is ment for an extra fan?

Is this connection live? Can it be used?

It is not live nor mapped on the current firmware. If you wanted to add an extra fan you would need to tap power directly from the power supply yellow and black wires for 12 volts.

Thanks for the info!

I'm tapping it from the existing 5V connection used to power the stock fan. That seems to work fine.
