Topic: Creaking Noise

My Da Vinci is making an annoying creaking sound, usually when the carriage is moving from left to right.  Anyone know what to look for? It's hard to pinpoint.  I tightened all the belts, so I don't think that is it.  Thanks.

Could be a bad bearing or a bent rod.. Also at slow moves the over driven motors tend to make a moaning sound.. COuld even be a bent rod. Try to move the Axis by hand when the machine is off and see how it moves and feels.

I'm able to move it around.  I do it when I'm leveling the bed.  Thanks.

But does it feel smooth and have the same resistance throughout the full motion of travel on each axis?
