Topic: Stops extruding during print

Anyone have the Da Vinci do this?  I've tried several prints lately, and I'll come back to find the printer "thinking" it's printing, but nothing is coming out of the nozzle.  The very next time it might work just fine.  It's a bit frustrating to say the least.  sad

Its usually bad filament or under temp. It cause the filament to jam and then the feed gear just gouges out a groove in it where it can no longer grip it. Or in the case of the Da Vinci the tension spring on the idler is weak or the cam is bent and not allowing the spring to pull the idler at full force.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

I've noticed the past few days I can't unload the filament without it getting stuck.  Trying to figure out what's causing that, and I wonder if the extruding issue is related.
