Topic: Could this be a problem?
I have been having trouble with my 3D prints lately. They started to degrade in quality (first layer has gaps where filament does not meet the perimeter, small circles are not perfectly round, outside of prints have small bumps of filament that make it look rough, infill pattern looks worse than before with strings going from shape to shape) a few months ago when I started the machine up after a month of it not being used. I am printing a few things today and need to change the filament. I just took my current cartridge out and noticed there are marks on it from the, what I believe to be called, feed rollers. It is deep enough that I can feel it and see it easily. Could this be leading to underextrusion and thus my problems? If so, what could I do to fix this? Thanks for reading.
