Topic: Simplify3D now offering a Two Week tryout.

The catch is you still have to buy it but if you are not satisfied with it for any reason they will give you a full refund for the full price.. So you still get a trial period so to speak, you just have to fork out the $149.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

sorry, but that isn't a "trial" to me. If I have to fork out the money, it is a purchase - period.

and for what it is worth, when I emailed them a while back asking about a trial period, I was informed that they offered a 30 day money back guarantee - 2 weeks is even less time.... Not a deal in book

There is a cracked version floating around that I got a copy of to try if you can find it.. It is version 2 and unfortunately does not support dual extrusion. But it still gives a nice overview of the software.

Re: Simplify3D now offering a Two Week tryout.

The software is really good.  I do love the software.

The customer service so far has been dismal at best.

Absolutely THEY DO NOT WANT TO TALK TO YOU.....and have gone to great lengths to avoid you.

Posting on their "support forum" is hit or miss.    Maybe you'll get a reply / maybe not.
They may not even allow your post to be seen.
Very paranoid company imo....but the software is really good it seems so until there's a comparable competitor, I guess you have to just deal with it.

If they weren't so unfriendly, they'd be great.

Craftware IMHO seems to be very close to  S3D.. You might want to check it out and it is free...
