Which is the best TPE (most trailed and proven) for home extruding?

Re: TPE

We began working on TPE pellets for the filastruder last week and will sell the pellets in our store once the filament is tested.

Re: TPE

Just an update. Our first resin didn't work out but gave several examples of polymer traits to avoid. We now have three different resins and additives on the way to continue. Hopefully we can create something soon.

Re: TPE

Just posting an update. I think we are really close to having something. There are still two more resins to try in mixtures but this one is working great. We hope to possibly have two or three testers for this material before it is released.

The black color is from left over in the Filastruder. This stuff is normally clear. We hope to have this material out within the next month if all keeps going well with this batch. I am going to try and color it with a new colorant arriving next week and should have more information then.

Re: TPE

Cool! Is this Texin 285?

Re: TPE

The seller said Texin 285 was tacky and that is one quality the filament cant really have or it wont slide through the PTFE tubing in the Jhead V.

Re: TPE

What is it then? Curious about the material properties.

What variant of the J-head V (and from where, genuine?)
What temperatures?
Did you add PTFE between the stepper shaft and the top of the hot end?

Re: TPE

Hello guys! Any advanced on this one?

I managed to extrude and print a few PP blends... but it is pretty messy after the 3rd layer. And printing speed has to be really slow.

Thanks!
