Re: Repetier host crashing!

I've never had Repetier crash on me.  Slic3r crash once or twice during a slice, but not Repetier.

What OS are you running, what type of system (memory, CPU, etc)?

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...

Re: Repetier host crashing!

Make sure you are not using a 3.0 port. They could have a blue insert or may not be marked at all unless you know your PC's system board. I've seen issues with other printers where there was a recent update to Windows that made some changes in the USB 3.0 system where it is not so backwards compatible any more.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
Anycubic 4MAX best $225 ever invested.
Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.
Anycubic Predator, massive Delta machine. 450 x 370 print envelope.

I Uninstalledon't rhythm 1.5.6 and downgraded to 1.0.6 still happened.

I know some of my ports are 3.0 not exactly sure which one they are.  But it connects and prints for like 20 minstrel or so then just stops

That issue is over a year old.

About this time last year, Microsoft put out a critical update that killed the USB 3.0 diver among other things.  Since Windows 7 doesn't natively support USB 3.0, the ports became useless.  But Microsoft released a patch within a few days, so I doubt that's a problem.

The hardware is certainly more than up to the task.

@Molecular.  You need to disable that spellchecker man.  wink

You said you have a Intel i7-3740QM.  That means you have a mobile chipset (maybe a tablet, laptop, AIO, etc).  I'm wondering if something goes to sleep on you during the print.

Go to your Power Options control panel, and set the plan to High Performance, then click Change Plan Settings, and set everything to "Never", then see if the problem goes away.
