Topic: Soleprint not homing x and y after printing

How do I get my solid doodles to home x and y axis after a print has finished? Right now my printers just stop at the end of the print and the nozzle gets stuck to the last layer of the printed object. I'm running the latest Soliprint and it does the same on my SD2's and SD3/4's. I have 10 printers total and they all have this problem with Soliprint.

Towards the bottom of your end gcode add G1 X0 Y0....

Um yes and no, remember Carl that SD likes to do everything backwards.
G1 X200 Y200 (numbers approximate) depending on which printer you'll need to enter the correct size.  Then I would recommend reducing those by 10 until you know the exact maximum build size.

Re: Soleprint not homing x and y after printing

The problem is, I have three different sized printers 10 printers total. It gets more complicated because students use different printers each day and we are talking middle schoolers.  Is there a command that would just home X and Y but not Z after a print is done that I could include in a slicer profile?

Re: Soleprint not homing x and y after printing

is it possible to ditch Soliprint and go to Repetier Host instead?

In RH it is very easy to set up a "park" position for each individual printer in > Config > Printer Settings > Printer

That would be exactly what this does.
You could use G1 X0 Y0 but on an SD that would be front left corner.
You enter this into the slice profile in the end G-code section of the Slic3r.
I'll get you a screen shot when I get a chance.
