Topic: XYZ ware (not that good)

OK spent 2 hours messing trying to print a bushing clip for the printer. Downloaded the file and ever time I sliced it I got four dots. Nothing like the actual file. I tried on its side, on its end, upside down. Still no joy. Then I flipped the print 360 degrees and sliced it.  Even though it was facing the exact way it was loaded into xyz it printed fine. This software sucks big time sad

It certainly does !
It's ok while you get to grips with the basics but once you've been using it a while you begin to see it's limitations.
There are other much better slicers such as Cura.
Simplify3d is the best imho and in another league to xyzware, although admittedly a little pricey.

Yes. I wonder if there is a Mac version. Because the GUI looks like a horrible compromise betweem Windows and Mac, which end up being bad for both Windows and Mac...

I run it on the Mac and yes it still sucks. But doesn't look to bad. LOL
