Topic: I've got all my Blocked restter carts working again. Duo 2.0A

I use the XYZPro but for some reason or other the carts was not recognized any more
even after using the XYZPro again.

So I took out the SD Card from the mother board and backed it up.
I then deleted these files

ad_check_0002
last_temperature.text
Machine_Life_date

All that was left on my sd card was the offline print gcode and some samples.
Put it back in to the printer started it up and put a un-recognized cart in. It worked!   smile

Now all my un-recognized carts are working again... Hope this helps someone.

That's great but if you are still using XYZ ware you still need to go into the firewall settings on your PC and block the inbound and outbound connections on the XYZ software. With the latest XYZ ware they log the cartridges remotely and can shut them down again. Blocking the connection stop this wink

I had xyzware blocked by comodo firewall. But it still happened.
I'm using simplify3D now  smile

Post back if it worked for you. I've uninstalled xyzware and it's folders.
I'm just using the xyz driver from windows update

Hi do you have a da vinci2.0A duo blue printer
And where is th sd card how do I get to it
Can you give me as much info as posable I am disabled do to a open heart op and memory is not what it was It takes a bit longer to take thing in

Make sure you've unplugged the printer.
Take off the back panel. Two screws. you will see the sd card middle right.

Back it up just in case and then delete these files only

ad_check_0002
last_temperature.text
Machine_Life_date

Put it back in and test. Make sure you have the xyzware.exe blocked by your firewall.
Mine is the Da vinci 2.0A with blue sides.

Anyone know if you can block out going of xyzware on OSX?

I don't sorry. Google would help. But don't use xyzware till you've blocked it or you will be back to square one.
