Topic: weird noises?

Hey everyone. Please watch the video and tell me if you have any idea what's going on. I can hardly print anything these days without it messing them up. I have tried to do the paper leveling! It used to work great for me. Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Repetier or XYZWare ? If its stock you meight have a clogged nozzle try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0N0eetVgAd8
If you have Repetier try to increase the extruder temp. Steppers sound normal for XYZCarpware.

Re: weird noises?

It's actually  simplify 3d. It's never acted like that before even with this software. It's as if its bouncing around..

Edit: To clarify what that meant if it wasn't obvious is I am using stock firmware on the printer. I'm using simplify3D as my software. It just recently started acting this way. I've watched it and it doesn't look like nozzle is hitting bed it anything... Does something need oil? Do those rods that the head slide around on need oil? I noticed when I try to do the moving around for paper levelin that it was a little tougher than usual to move the head left on right on that rod... Maybe I just haven't some it in a while? Geez I just wanna get back to printing ha-ha.

By the way thank you dopeskrit for your reply. I'm not sure if that's it or not as it is releasing filament.

Re: weird noises?

Yes, like any machine it needs normal maintenance and oil. Just use a light machine oil like 3 in One or sewing machine oil. Spread a very light film and move the axis full travel using the jog mode in Simplify3D. Don't move them by hand unless you do so very slowly.  The motors can generate enough back EMF to destroy the drivers if they are not properly protected and I am not so sure XYZ did that since they are custom drivers.

Once the Axis moves back and forth a few times wipe off the excess oil at each end so it won't collect dust.
