i have a Davinci 2.0 and i installed repetier host on it and it worked fine but recently the printer was acting up so i tried to reset the firmware by reflashing the printer and reinstalling repetier on it. When i try to install repetier it flashes, the interior lights come on and the screen lights p with the two black bars. could it be a bad file im trying to install? i dont know whats wrong and i need your help!
What was it doing when it was acting up and you wanted reflash it?
hi, I have just purchase the Da Vinci 2.0 and I know it has cartridges that's fine, what I want to know that they sell reels for the 2.0 so does that mean the cartridges can be re-used.
The refills come with a spool of filament and a new EEPROM. You just pop open an old catridge, remove the old spool and EEPROM, replace them with the new ones then snap the cartridge closed. Once installed it should be seen as a new cartridge.

something was wrong with the z axis and it was moving too much at a time. it was weird since it worked perfectly fine before and i dont think i changed anything. can you help me with the fladhing issue?
When you flashed the first time did you save a copy of the firmware? Normally Arduino will not let you exit without saving. If you did save, is that what you reflashed with? When you unplug the USB cable and plug it back in does the computer see it? Whst does it show up as in device manager?

the first time i flashed it i used a bossac program from arduino but i didnt actually go through arduino so it didnt save the file. the computer sees the printer as a bossa program port. awhile ago i redownloaded the arduino software but the page looked different, is it possible they changed something and its not communicating properly when i flash it? i followed instructions from a guy on youtube called Jacob Dykstra
If it is showing as a bossac port then it means there is no firmware on it. Only the bootloader in present. If that is the case then you need to use the bossac program and process detailed for installing the original or older version of Repetier from a BIN file. Arduino will do you no good for the state the machine is currently in.

This is how I did mine. Once you get .91 on it you then can use the current Arduino and the non compiled version of .92 to be more up to date.

You need winzip or winrar installed on your system.
I don't have either of those and I can unzip. however if you have installed one of the trial zips like win zip and it has expired you need to uninstall it to allow the system unzipper to work or decided to buy it.

Alright so ive ruled that the motherboard is shorted out or isnt working. can i buy a motherboard for a different printer and use it in mine? if so, what mother board should i get and how do i set it up?
You can ask around, somebody might have a stock one as many are changing over to RAMPS. Or you can get a RAMPS 1.4 but installing and setting up is not really documented anywhere to well yet.
