Topic: Quality issue with DaVinci 2.0 printer

Hi,

I try to print several small plastic buttons with white ABS filaments.

I've made several trials, but I still have the same issue : there is always some dirt inside the pieces, so the pieces are never completely white.

What's the origin of this issue ? Any idea ?

Regards,

That's not dirt.  It's just burnt plastic.  The sample printed by Shapeway is done by a completely different process, so you're not comparing apple to apple.  With that said, when you're printing very small parts like this you'll need to print more than one at a time.  Spread them out on the print bed so that the nozzle isn't hovering over the same small area the whole time.  Give that a shot and see if it improves.

Yes, you are right !
I tried to make 3 different pieces in the same time and the issue disappeared.
THANKS !
