Topic: Solidoodle 4 e3d v6 firmware.....Im lost, please help!!!!

Hey,

So ive went through all the instructions for flashing the firmware but i keep having problems


When I get to this step....

28.    Within the CMD window, navigate to the folder you unzipped the BootleaderHID to in step 23
29.     Type “hid_bootloader_cli -mmcu=at90usb1286 -w -v Marlin.cpp.hex” (no quotations)


I get this messege...

Is not recognized as a internal or external command, operable program or batch file

The board says..
Solidoodle LLC
Motherboard REV-E
ATMEC 90usb1286

I have a windows 7 computer

Any help is greatly appreciated, I would really like to get printing again.

I can only assume you are following these instructions .
Are you sure you followed step 4 correctly?

Many users including myself said they had to verify/compile several times to function properly. So backtrack a few steps, be certain you try a few times, and you may have it.

That means windows can't find hid_bootloader_cli, which is the program you were supposed to navigate to in step 28. Are you sure you unzipped hid_bootloader_cli to the folder shown at the command line?

It has nothing to do with write/verify, the program that does the writing (hid_bootloader_cli) can't be found according to that error.
