Can I go back?

Hello all, I like a complete noob (which I am) upgraded the firmware on my new 2.0J to 2.1.4. I really want to at least get a filament resetter. Will they work for me? I really don't need the other stuff right now. But I picked up a bunch of 3rd party filament. I keep the cart in the printer and feed through the top.  If not is there any way I can go back to 2.0J like it came in box?
