Topic: CTC 3D, thermocouple issue

Hello All,

I was printing fine, then i went to start another print and the left extruder was at around 170C, suddenly it went to 29C and turned off the fan. I turned off the printer and turned it on and nothing. I got another thermocouple that i know was working because i tested on the right extruder and it worked fine, but when i connect it to the left the temperature stays at 29C. Also, even if i disconnect the thermocouple it still says 29C, unlike the right one it will go N/A and call out a temp failure. Does anyone know what happened? Also, does anyone know where i could get schematics for the mightyboard? i want to see if i burned something out.
I have heard that the mightyboard suffers from thermocouple failures and it will break the board if you dont have sailfish installed. I didnt have it installed so that might be a reason too.

Thanks.

Hmm, this is the exact issue I'm having with my CTC, but on the right side. I'm gonna tag this and keep an eye on it.

Mine is now fixed. It's basically a new board if this happens.
