Topic: Da Vinci 1.0A

I've been reading on various forums that the Da Vinci 1.0 cannot print PLA, but the 1.0A can. My printer has a serial number in the 3F10A range, and it shows as a 1.0A in the software. Should I be ok to use PLA?

Only their PLA. If you want to use PLA from another provider you will need the same mods as the 1.0.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

The 1.0 A can print PLA. As long as you are able to reset / program the cartridge, you can print any PLA. I own a 1.0 A and only print PLA. I use simplify3D.
