Topic: Extruder Temp stuck at 37 degrees
My extruder isn't heating up. Anyone experienced this?
This happened after a messy print. Now, I can't clean it because temp isn't going up. But no filament seeems to be stuck on the tip.

You broke on or both wires for the thermistor while you where cleaning the remains of your messy print from the extruder.
Is there a way to fix it?
For some reason sometimes it heats up, and sometimes it doesn't. Sadly, it hasn't for awhile now since this post.
Take a decent heat source and see if you can hold it "near" the hot end to see if the temperature changes. If it doesn't, you broke the thermistor. If it does, you either broke the heater cartridge wires, or it's become disconnected. On the original model, the connector for the heater cartridge was known to be bad.
You'll need to start doing some trouble shooting before you can get replacement parts, unless you just prefer to keep replacing things until you hit the right one. Better heater cartridges are easy to get off ebay and elsewhere. You'll probably have to do a bit of research to find the part number for the thermistor, but I'm sure you can find it on this forum.
As always a cheap multimeter makes any of these kind of trouble shooting tasks much easier.
He also could've blown one of the resistor fuses if he did it when everything was on and shorted something.
Look at the board on the back, there should be 3 Red LEDs on the back that are lit up when the unit is turned on. If there aren't 3, one of your resistor fuses are blown.
