New owner of DaVinci 1.0A

Hi,

I'm a new owner of a 3D printer, but I've somewhat kept up with the technology over the past few years. I stumbled upon the forums here last week after I bought a nearly new DaVinci 1.0A printer for $60 bucks (It had been printed on a total of 8 hours). Sounds like a heck of bargain to me! When I got home, I quickly found that most people online said XYZ Software was a bust and so I flashed Repetier on it the same day.

The forums here had tons of great knowledge of how to install Repetier and 3D printing in general. Thanks to everyone who has shared their knowledge in the forums.

There you have it, that was how I ended up here.
