My motherboard on my ctc burned out and I bought a new motherboard, but now the bed temperature does not read and I get the overheat light on in the motherboard. The extruders read fine. If I disconnect the thermocouple for the bed and turn it on it still keeps the light on. Does anyone know if the overheat light will turn on if a thermocouple is disconnected?
Thanks.
What overheat light? According the the schematic and the board diagram there is no such light. Would you mind posting a pic of your new board and said LED. If you mean the LED marked FET5 that is an LED indicating when power is being supplied to the heated bed and it should be heating.
I must tell you that I doubt an official mightyboard will work on these machines.
While they are clones they are actually clones of a Flashforge and that is the board and parts you should be getting. They are based in the US and sell parts.
