Topic: Power Question

I have a wireless switch that I was thinking of hooking up my da vinci to so I can turn it on and off remotely.  I would leave the printer on and the switch would essentially unplug the printer when I turn it off.  Would this harm my printer or would it be ok?

For a Da Vinci it would not be good. If you unplug power while the switch is on the power supply will pulse several times. These pulses may or may not be the correct voltage and could damage the very hard near impossible to find a replacement for motherboard.
