There are no golden settings. The are unique per machine and filament combination. This is the honest truth and hardest part of printing.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
Anycubic 4MAX best $225 ever invested.
Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.
Anycubic Predator, massive Delta machine. 450 x 370 print envelope.

Re: Slic3r settings

Indeed, it can be a long and quite painful process

Here's my settings for davinci's PLA on an original 1.0 extruder ( it does work and rarely clicks here):

bed temp: 90°c
extruder: 200-190

speed settings from top to bottom:

60 / 15 / 45% / 50 / 50 / 40 / 30 / 100% / 40 / 15 / 60 / 30%

Works like a charm if you're into printing 1.9 mm cubes.

Re: Slic3r settings

I found the most important thing was tuning the esteps.  After that the temps and speeds are much simpler to sort out.
