I decided to build my own for the ultimate in hacking and modding :-). I'm by no means finished yet, but I think I'm making progress. Most of my work so far is documented here: http://home.comcast.net/~tomhorsley/har … orexy.html

Other than the Site needing some work so the home page doesn't have a "page not found" message, could you please move this to the B/S/T section if you are trying to sell a service.
options options options.
Not sure which is harder selecting the first printer or the second.
budget? what do you feel comfortable spending?
Materials ? high strength materials require higher heat so you need a good hot end.
bowden style extruders tend to run faster as the motor is mounted on the frame less mass higher acceleration.
I have had an sd4 for a year I have pondered 3 options. for next printer
1) makerbot clone ie flash forge with metal frame. But at around $1300 retail not doing it.
a) a deal on above have been looking .
b) ctc printer $500 concerned about quality.
2) a Kossel delta kit from folger tech add metal connectors effector and mounts for the arms. probably about $450-$500 when I am done.
3) a solid self built machine with quality parts like rumba board , Quality import PS ED6vs extruder(s) aluminum carriages welded frame .

675 £ for the dual extruder kit. And these come with the ed3 v6 arguably the best hot end on the market.

I am very interested in your build. I am converting a Uconduit H-bot to CoreXY. Still in the initial building phase, not exactly sure how I am going to do the conversion. I printed a Corexy carriage, but I think I am going to have to do some hacking to make it work.
