Topic: Solidoodle Press + Cura?

I have been looking at Cura as a program to run my Press, I'm using repetier at the moment but I am getting a bit tired of it. Is there a way I can transfer over to Cura? I tried already but I don't quite know all the settings I should insert to make it compatible with my printer. If you could help me with configuring Cura up to my Press (Or even telling me if its possible or not) It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I never got Cura Standalone to work with the Press but the current version of Repetier Host uses Cura Engine as well as Slic3r. Found here: http://www.repetier.com/downloads/

It's speedy but loses the plugin support that standalone version gives.

I think the Start, End, and Kill gcodes need to be entered manually too.

I hope someone can shine some light into getting the standalone version working, I would like some of them plugins.

Wow! I just did a test slice using Cura through repetier, can you post youre config for Cura? im unlcear on what I should put in for some settings. (or do you not use cura?)
