Topic: Is there an alternative to Repetier for the Mac?

I use Repetier Host on all 3 of my Windows machines, and on my IMac27.  I shy away from the Mac, cuz the RH software hasn't been touched in near 2 years, still at V0.56, it works, but a lot has happened in the 3D printing world in near 2 years!  Windows versions get upgraded monthly, at least. 
I have this rather expensive IMac that I would like to use, but the software freezes, machine lock-ups and other stuff that happens with old software makes it more difficult to print that it already is.
Anything else out there?

I believe Simplify3d has a mac version but it is not free.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

I've heard of the software,  I guess I'll do a little research.  Sure hate to pay when RH for Win does a good job, but it's not the same for Mac.
