Topic: Multiple copies without resending info?

I'm continuing to have problems with XYZware communicating with the printer reliably which made me wonder........if you want multiple identical parts is there a way to rerun the last program that was sent to the printer? I need to make 16 brackets that take about 8 hours each.  I can get a couple a day done except for the fact that the software regularly stops communicating with the printer, which requires an extended shutdown to fix.  If there is a way to run the last part directly from the printer it would make things so much easier.  Everything is stock on the machine.  Thanks!

You could remove the SDCard, but that also requires unmounting the mainboard. If you did do this then you could put the sdcard in a reader, rename one of the sample files to something arbitrary then rename the file called offline to SAMPLE01 then print it from the menu as a sample and it will print your bracket instead of the sample.

You could even get an SDcard extension cable and mount it inside the cabinet so you could get to it easily.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Thanks Carl!  From reading other posts I was aware of the sd card method.  I was hoping that since it seems that the file is completely loaded into the printer before it starts printing that it must be in memory and it might be possible to access that memory to rerun the part.

Its not in memory, it is placed on the sdcard as a file called offlineprint. There is no way to access it directly.
