You haven't seen any reviews because no one has actually gotten theirs yet.
I am sure it will be hackable but SD hasn't shipped a single one as of yet.

I am looking to getting my first Solidoodle soon (hoping for another blackfriday sale!) and have a couple questions that will determine my decision.

I am leaning towards the Solidoodle apprentice as the double print head is highly appealing with the low price tag. However I have not seen any talk on the forums regarding mods for this specific model and I am curious as to why that is. Is the apprentice just as susceptible to hacking and modding or is it not as easily modified?

Also, are there any general reviews of the apprentice as a printer in whole?
