I've seen multiple people using the single pivoting coupler but they make a dual pivoting coupler that allows for deviations.

Would not really fix z-wobble, unless you have some weird z-wobble. can introduce vertical slop. Also multiple people have used it, worth looking around.

M3 is often used instead of M5. An M3 rod will flex which allowes some angular misallignment, like a helical coupling. M3 will also have a finer pitch, and hide layer height errors with finer resolution.

Can the stock thread rod be removed from the motor on the z axis? I'm trying to convert to the m5 threaded rod. Also has anyone tried the dual flex coupler that mcmaster sells to fix the z wobble? They call them helical flexible shaft couplings.
