			<description><![CDATA[<p>In SLS the powder that was closest to the object in a build gets heated up enough to change it&#039;s melt flow characteristics, so it can&#039;t be reused and has to be discarded.&nbsp; That&#039;s what Shapeways sent Tim, and even though it isn&#039;t good enough for SLS it&#039;s fine for extrusion. You could look up rapid prototyping services in your area that use SLS and ask if they would be willing to give their leftover powder to you rather than throwing it out.&nbsp; It&#039;s an odd request and not something the front desk can help you with, so it might be tough to get anyone to call you back.</p>]]></description>
