That is part of it, you're also overextruding a bit which makes the moire stand out moire wink

and like coaster says adjust your trimpot for the extruder stepper as it can smooth it out some.

]]> Tue, 28 Jan 2014 04:54:21 +0000 https://www.soliforum.com/post/47937/#p47937 <![CDATA[Re: E3D Print Quality Troubles]]> https://www.soliforum.com/post/47936/#p47936 you need to adjust the small trimpot on the extruder stepper driver on the electronics.  As you are extruding (preferably at a low speed to save filament), twist the trimpot until you hear the pulsing noise disappear.  If you have the Sanguinololu, you can also upgrade to a DRV8825, which completely eliminates the effect.
