I've actually been using kapton on glass exclusively for months and loving it.

When I originally got my glass bed, I didn't have any hairspray yet and put some kapton on it just to print and use up the roll. I didn't expect to see any difference, but I guess with the flatter, smoother, bed, I found that the kapton sticks much better, doesn't pull away from the bed, and prints pop right off when done. I never got around to trying the hairspray, but since kapton works perfectly well, why bother?

I only do one coat but that is because I have a good base on there already. There is no fixed firm method to spraying the bed. I kinda just dust the area I am going to print it. Sorta like I am spraying air freshener but with a target in mind.

My bed I always have at 100C but my extruder temp varies depending on the filament. This natural filament that I am running now seems to flow really well at 215 but I have some dark colors that don't work at anything less than 225-230. I am also running a different hotend so my temps don't translate too well.
