Read the guide carefully and try it on an android phone that can read/write NFC. There is also other updated version and other different apps in the follow up post named "NTAG_Refill_Tool v1.40" by modfreakz, I have not tried it yet but modfreakz is a brand you can trust.  smile

If you downgrade your firmware to 2.2.0, you should be able to use resetted NTAGs.

What method are you using to try to reset/update the tag?

Were you ever able to read more than 8 lines?

If you cannot read more than eight lines you will not be able to update it.

i did all that and it still wouldnt let me  set anything, now it just says it empty


Once they are empty they cannot be reset. You would need to buy a pack of paper tags and program one to finish of the remaining amount if any.
